Event Photography in Tokyo
An excited bidder makes his play during the Asian University for Women Fundraiser.
Event photography was a core part of my business in the UK, and it has remained so after my move to Japan. It has been an exciting and engaging challenge, applying what I know to a new location, but through hard work and good word of mouth I have managed to steadily build a base of clients that can put their trust in me to represent them well.
Events always come in many shapes and sizes, and the needs of each client vary greatly depending on how they themselves will use the photos. Sometimes it can be as little as a few hours, other times several days and with a pressing need to have a selection of photos delivered on the same or next day. Furthermore, it’s important to approach each event with the sensitivity necessary depending on the type of event and the people attending. A business conference with visiting dignitaries is very different from a summer party and I know exactly how to approach each one.
Some my existing Tokyo clients include: The British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ), S&P Global, Concurrences & University of Oxford. You can see a selection of images here but please do check out my portfolio for a more complete view.
If you are in need of a photographer for your event, even if it is something last minute, please don’t hesitate to contact me here.

As well as capturing the serious moments I always aim to try and catch those moments of humour in between.
As well as those great moments of socialising and networking which are so critical for all of these events.
